The best sounding for ESSB is the Heil PR-40, but a lot of other mics will
work well, too. The Heil GM 4 or GM 5 can switch from an excellent sounding
'studio quality' mic element to either the HC-4 or HC-5 for DX or contest
work, and the mic is smaller and easier to mount.
