Make sure this is really a "Gel" cell. I started calling everything
that didn't need maintenance a "Gel Cell" till I realized you have
SLA (Sealed Lead Acid) and AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) and they are all
"closed".
And the deal is, a true Gel Cell, according to some battery tender manufacturers, like DelTran, say you need a different charger for that Gel Cell while the SLA, and AGM (and Car Battery) can both use the same (different from Gel Cell) Charger. For example, I used to call my 7Ahr Power Sonic "brick" batteries Gel Cells but they are SLA. 73, Paul |
