The world is starting to look a lot better. I bought a tube from
http://www.vacuumtubes.net and I received the tube 2 days later.
Installed the tube and got a meter reading. phew!
I now have new issue and am hoping someone has an idea or two. There is a plastic window over the frequency drum. Given that there is some brownish stuff on the inside of the cover, I can only assume is was somehow glued to the aluminum cover. Can I use a tape to hold the window in place or is there some other option. Thanks for the suggestions and support. John Graves WA1JG jh.graves@verizon.net |
