>I'd like to hear from any hams who learned to
send CW left-handed because their rigs were right-handed
In days prior to computer-logging days it was
common for a right-hander to send with his left and
write with his right. This is actually easier to do
than it sounds if you swap the dot and dash from
the norm for right-hand usage. If your keyer or rig
doesn't allow swapping by menu and you don't have
time to change the mechanical connections, turn the
paddle backwards and put your left hand over the
mechanism so the dot and dash positions are reversed.
This is a little awkward but it's an easy way to give
it a try without changing anything but the paddle
orientation.
