Interesting comment; I though the Orion II was specifically built for left
handed cw operators!! Being right handed, if it were not for the Model
302 encoder/keypad, I would have my arms "crossed" on the table. Sitting
in front of the radio my right arm is laying on the table with the cw paddle
on the left side of the radio and if I want to use the tuning knobs on the
radio, my left hand and arm are crossed over. Of course with the 302, I
place it to the left of the paddle and I don't have to have my arms crossed.
If I were a "south paw", I would not have had to purchase the 302.
Not such a problem when on SSB or RTTY, as my computer screen and mouse are
to the right of the radio, so my right hand is on the mouse or keyboard and
I use my left hand to tune the radio.
So, you see radio was actually built for left handed hams!!
