Now that is troubling, but precisely what I was wondering.

You're the only answer I've had, too, which tells me something.

I was about to buy one this week 'cause of all the delivery delay and
problems reported with the Elecraft K3.....I ordered a K3 last June, 
can't get  them
to even answer me.

Maybe I just stick with my Icom 746Pro.
