You will find on the schematic that the ALC voltage is generated by two diodes on or near the final board. Sometimes these fail because of a lightning discharge in the next county. Another nearby pair generates the SWR voltage. When a fellow is in there replacing diodes, it is well worth replacing all 4 or 5.

While checking my Delta 580 & 260 P.S. setup before putting it for sale, seems the ALC control is not working..Turns smooth but has no effect...Everything else operates normal .Transmits fine but of course have to watch the drive control or the power supply will shut down..Any one know what I should check or does this need a call to Tentec..
