Doc,
In talking with Inrad at Dayton, I got the feeling that if 10 or so
buyers committed to purchasing the 1000Hz filter for the 6.3mHz IF,
that they would make them. I don't know if there are 9 others
besides myself that would be interested. Anyone?

Just wondering where Inrad could be convinced to build a small run of
filtres if a certain number of folks were to order at the same
price, and
pay in advance, etc.? Whatsay?
Might well be worth investigating. Just a thought.
