No John,I think the first rig,which was american was a signal one cx7.It had 
dual vfo's(though not the first,that was a johnson) and dual receive(again 
not the first,that was a halli sr-400/vfo) but a built in keyer..dated abt 
1970 and a awesome rig still today..73 john
