There's your problem.  As I recall that version had an issue with  lockups.

        No way.  I've been using 1.373b5 for
>18 months with 2 different amps, almost daily usage including 
numerous contests, and can count
the cumulative number of lockups on the fingers
of one hand.  1.373b5 is extremely stable.
