With the AL80B and Al1500, neither of which are QSK, I can hear pretty well
when the Orion drops back into receive but the relays in the amps have not
been released--sort of like having QSK in a non-QSK amp. I ordinarily use
an Alpha in full QSK, but I was a little surprised to discover how much
signal leaked back with the Ameritrons.

The Ten Tec keying loop in the 425 is probably different than the Ameritron.
It is possible to hear with the linear in transmit, and in fact I did, just
not very well. There is enough inter-electrode capacitance in the 3CX800's
to pass some signal back from the antenna to the input. Sort of an
attenuator with 2,400 VDC on it!
