Have you ever once found a signal that was so weak that the tone covered up?
Hook up an antenna before testing this.

Itsounds just like the calibrator signal on an analog Triton IV, however thereis no calibrator in the digital version as far as I know. It would seem that it is most likely the counter that I may be hearing as there is no other processor type activity going on in the radio. I'm hearing this signal on other bands - only once per band but not as loud. The strongest signal is in the 75 meter phone band. The signal is loud audio wise, however there is no S-meter reading. Anyone seen this before... Any thoughts?
