I do not own the Omni VI, but I have run RTTY a long time and have never 
seen a rig with a phono jack for the FSK input that could key the rig and 
shift the frequency with the same wire!!  I have been wrong many times, and 
could be this time, but just don't see how that is possible.  I think you 
will need to key PTT and have the circuit to shift the freq at the FSK jack 
as well, like I do on my Orion.
