With this DREADED LEAD WARNING, do we dare touch them, or do they fit a muzzle loader as well??

Has anyone tried using a stereo to mono to 1/4" jack? Doesn't the impedance drop by half if we place each cup in parallel??

In other words, they use traditional lead-based solder, which we have
been doing forever in ham radio. The new regulatory environment is
making everybody switch to lead-free technologies. This is probably a
good idea, but I wouldn't panic. On the other hand, I wouldn't let
children gnaw on soldered wires.

Washing your hands frequently is a good idea for all sorts of reasons!

This is a known warning for period of time now.
It seems China does not adhere to health codes as we do, to products
used in the home.
They use lead-based products to make wire.
Thus I would side with caution:
Using cables made from China in "fixed" connections from ur radio to a
tuner for example, (handling is minimal) shouldn't present a problem.

Otherwise, frequent handling, like handling solder (which too, contains
lead) you should wash your hands.

I purchased a set for $9.99 today at CVS. It came with a notice that
