If your scout is like mine, there's no need to remove anything on the front panel. By removing the top you need to remove the board above the meter. This is just a set of screws and a few plugs. You need to slide the freed board back a bit and remove it. The lamp is easily removed by pulling it out latterally and replaced the same way. Its like a cork in a bottle. Straightening out the meter can be done w/o removing it as well, but you need to be really gentle with a dental probe or some such. Good luck. -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
