Rob: I just ran TLW for RG-213, 300 feet long, at 1.8 MHz and with a 50-ohm load at the output of the tuner. Using a high-pass L-network tuner (with essentially no loss = 1 W), I see 1256 W into the load for 1500 W into the input end of the tuner. I know it sounds crazy, but are you sure you weren't somehow using meters instead of feet for the length? For 300 meters of RG-213 (a really long run of cable!) I see 847 W of power into the load. 73, Dean Straw, N6BV (Author of TLW software) _______________________________________________ TenTec mailing list TenTec@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/tentec |
