A trick I learned years ago, with the good old yaesu ft 101 series, ( the
power and heater switch were notorious for going out) , is to use a $6 zip
strip, with a switch, either a 4 holer or a 6 holer and turn the power on with
the power strip, and leave the switch for the rig on all the time, its easier
to
buy a zip switch than repair the radio..
