Hold on to or pass on to other operators your old TT rigs with PTOs and great
receivers. OMNI-Ds and Corsairs with external VFOs still dual receive and are
great CW pile-up rigs. I'm sure it's a niche market, but at some point in time,
don't you think there would be a demand for a new 100W transceiver with
circuitry like the OMNI-D or Corsair II, something you can work on with basic
tools and test equipment.
Enjoy my Omni VI+, but still have my Corsair II and remote VFO for when the CW
pile-up is really rough.

Spoke yesterday with Scott over at the Ten Tec booth about my idea (see
below). FWIW, he indicated that it could be done -- but that the price of the
rig would not make it competitive with similar radios that would include V/UHF
features.
