Would a 65 amp hour deep cycle battery be ok for the Corsair? I have a weak
back and would prefer the smaller battery if it would suffice, although I
can carry the heavier 90 amp hour battery if I'm careful

I used a fairly large (just a bit larger than a standard auto battery)
Marine deep cycle battery fully charged. The SSB was fine, everything
held up pretty well. I didn't go for more than an hour, the Herc II
takes a bit of current, hi.
