Yes, it is in the Archives of this list. You either move the mic gain
to
back panel or substitute fixed mike gain resistor dividers, and reuse
the
front panel pot for replacing a fixed resistor that determines RF gain.
I
think the resistor is actually in the IF stage, as that is how "RF gain"
is
handled in most radios.
