Similarly for the examiner in Chicago. He was a black fellow, I don't
know his name. When I took my advanced there was no one else taking the
test. He then talked me into trying the extra -- and when I missed by a
letter or so, he must have looked over my copy for a quarter hour,
trying to find a string of characters that would get me over the top.
