There is more than one PLL in the Omni VI. The 5.0-5.5 MHz VFO is a PLL system. The "Band switching oscillators" are also PLL controlled. They are separate PLL systems, only the RF output of the two are mixed together. The is no interconnected PLL control of both of those oscillators.

In the Omni VI manual, regarding the band switching crystal oscillators: "A PLL circuit on the Logic Board ....... sends a D.C. correction voltage back to the oscillator....."
