Yes, the Orion is by far the best reciever to have made it through the doors of
my shack. Most of the initial aggravatons have been taken care of -
NOW, if they could program the F1 button on the pod to let me set the AGC
threshold without drilling through the menus - and let me set the tone on tune
to something that does not start the dogs howling in the middle of the night!!!
But anyhow, mine is much more stable than it was initially, and I'm finally
working some 30 M on the 40 M dipole. Feedline lengths work out so I have a
reactance maxima in the shack on 30, and it has been essentially untunable on
everything I have tried. But the Orion's tuner handles the SWR very nicely and
I have worked everything I have called on 30.
