Rick,

With the Omni V, Paragon, Paragon II, Omni VI, Jupiter, and Orion, there is
overcurrent protection built into the radio.  The radio will automatically
reduce its own drive to prevent the final current from going above a set
threshold.  The older Omni A and Omni D did not have this protection.  Also
the Pegasus does not have this over current protection.
