Steve, You might want to check an article in QST from a month or two or three ago. Used "white LED's and dropping resistor, installed in the base of a burnt out bulb. Bust the glass out, solder in the LED. Presto! Small white light, no heat and long life. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
