Duck it. Or not. There's a marvelous world of cleaning chemicals out there that will do the job. I sell them during the day. I use them at night, on my equipment. They work. Rather than conduct a thread seminar. Ill refer you to the hardware store of your choice or the internet search engine of convenience as a place to begin. Solvents, surfactants and degreasers.
