Specifically, say 'No' to everything in the 'Marketing Preferences' in your profile. For those pesky pop-ups, you can give Bill Gates, Netscape et al a 'French Salute' by going to www.opera.com and downloading their EXCELLENT browser; runs faster than OE or Netscape (within the limits of your connection) and is free for 30 days. After that, the ads come back. I value my time just enough that the registration price was worth it. 73, Tom N5OZQ "You also need to edit your profile at Yaywho and tell them NO! to all the spam sources. Ron K0IDT" |
