My mistake. I was going to post a follow up and had to run some errands.
I have a notebook that I have setup to dual boot Win98 and Win 2000. The
notebook does not have a COM2 so I could not test that port under Win2k. I
had forgot I had rebooted the machine into 98 and that is where I saw the
program work. So it has not played for me in 2K or XP.
