the remote VFO for the Corsair also uses the segmented 
bargraph and provides Dual receive.  However, it does not use 
the worm gear arrangement.  The bargraph is simply a low 
resolution frequency counter.   I won't go into details here but it 
is a clever arrangement to be sure.
