I got a chuckle out of the justifications for purchasing ham gear to our 
spouse.  However, to be fair, any money we spend on ham gear should be 
duplicated with a equal or greater amount of  money spent on our spouses for 
things they like; such as vacation,  jewelry, etc. That way we can honestly 
state that we care for them as least as much as our ham gear!- Corn - k4own
