Creating a digital recording isn't a "record" of the log??? Seems like that would be the "ultimate" record. When do we start requiring an MD5 or SHA1 hash to be sent with electronic logs to 'authenticate' them? Time to have the software writers incorporate a hashing function so at 0001Z on each computer the log file gets locked and hashed. THEN there is certainty if the log file has been massaged post contest.
