I've been told Japan has a lot of avid radio amateurs, so I listened for them in the JIDX contest last weekend - heard maybe one. I admit my antenna isn't the best and propagation has been bad lately - but still, I expected to hear a lot more. I see only 2 posts to the 3830 reflector - both from Russian stations. So - what's going on? Why the small amount of activity? Is it lack of JA stations in the contest?
