I highly recommend velcro reusable cable ties as an aide in cable management.=
We have a collection of rotor boxes and coax switches network computer =
network cabling, etc which results in +/- 10 cables going from the heart =
of the operating desk over to a monster patch panel with Jones plug =
disconnects. There is a pvc pipe which runs from the table to the wall =
near the patch panel.. The pvc pipe serves as something to "tie" all =
these cable to, a support - which is bonded to with the velcro ties.
We frequently host multi-op contests and when it is time to reconfigure =
what rotor or control box leaves the shack and goes onto the porch it is =
merely a matter of pealing back the velcro and removing that/those =
cables from the bundle attached to the pvc.
These used to be in Builders Squares computer aisle, when they went =
belly up here in Tampa I made them an offer for all they had and am very =
glad I did, besides it is almost as much fun peeling velcro as popping =
those plastic bubble wrap bubbles! FWIW I bought AT&T part number =
A67502 four-packs although I am sure many other companies offer =
same-same.
