Dear fellow contesters,
after being challenged and offered to come up with "better contest", TESLA
Radio Club is proud to announce and present the draft of proposed rules for a
contest that tries to minimize if not eliminate most of the inequalities in
scoring.
The objective was to try to come up with rules that would satisfy most of
the items on the want list rehashed here, provide "fair" scoring system,
remain simple and be true reflection of our operating and station assembling
skills.
I have tried in the past to communicate some of the changes to present
day sponsors, some were accepted (WPX), some ignored (why fix it, if not
broken). Perhaps it is really time to have something new, sponsored and
managed by us active contesters, fast processing, Internet home page, etc.

Please send the comments to me (or here if reflector administrator feels it
to be appropriate), and I will try to massage them, incorporate when
appropriate and keep posting changes until we are all happy.
