John,
I don't use the DUAL button to turn ON my sub-rcvr - only to turn it off. I
just press the RX button for the sub-rcvr. Don't know if what you're
describing is an error or what - but I didn't make any menu changes and mine
seems to work fine. (I just got my Field in February)
