OK here is the problem. I keep dropping out of one of the local repeaters
where I live. This happens with my mobile radio only. No one else has a
problem
getting into this repeater. The problem is with the PL encode on the radio.
The repeater does not loose my signal, it just stops decoding the pl. I had
my friend watch the repeater panel, the cor light stays on, but the decode
light goes out. The weird part is I don't have a problem with any other
repeaters. I ran the power wires direct to the battery and the partially cured
the
problem but it is still there. The radio is installed in a 98 Dodge 2500,
diesel. The repeater is on 450.250 with a 67.0 Pl.
Is there an adjustment for the PL output of the radio, and how do you go
about measuring the PL output of the radio?
Thanks
Warren
