[Yaesu] FT-5100 squelch adjustment?

Can anyone tell me if there is a pot to adjust the squelch threshold on the
FT-5100 and if so, where it is located? Signals too weak to register on the
S meter break the squelch even if it is turned up fully. A real annoyance
when scanning! Thanks.
