[Yaesu] GS-23 Rotor Interface

Has anyone using the GS-23 computer interface on their G1000sdx or
similar rotor?  The interface sure is pricey but wanted to get some user
feedback.

The other solution is the SARtek1 which is quite a bit less expensive
but it requires slot space in a computer to power it.  That will work
but I'm working on a remote control setup using a Kachina 505DSP which
does not require a computer at the remote end.
