Personally I wouldn't consider the radios you mention to be an upgrade to
the FT-920. They are really in the same class. For something better I
would suggest the FT-1000MP/D, TS-950SDX , IC-775 or some such. Overall I
really liked the FT-920 while I had it although my FT-1000 was better for
serious HF work. W8KX
