Greetings,
I know that Cetron supplied 572b's for Yaesu for use in the FL-2000b and
FL-2100b amps and also the Heathkit SB-200 and 201 series amplifiers. I
also understand that the new Svetlana 572b's require a small
modification to the bias circuit when used in the FL-2000b and FL-2100b
amps (no modification needed in the FL-2100z and Heathkit amps.)
I've been told that the Russian tubes are very nice and the Chinese
tubes are ...well, not as nice.
The question is: Does anyone know what happened to the Cetron
Electronics Corporation in Geneva, Illinois?
Also, I have a set of 572b's, new in the box, purchased as spares but
not needed. Can anyone tell me what they might be worth?
Thanks, and very best regards.
George
