It is easy to install filters in the 990 since you can just unplug the
filter board from the rig. The hardest part of the job is taking the cover
off the rig! Once you have the rig open you will see that the
instruction book has more than enough detail to do the job.
I installed the 2000Hz filter and I put a 500Hz filter in place of the
250Hz filter in my 990.
