[Yaesu] FT-1000MP Spurious Problem

        Can anyone tell me the latest status of the spurious
problem reported by some with the MP?  Has Yaesu admitted a problem?
Which Serial Numbers are affected?  Are they repairing any units
with this problem regardless of warranty period?  I am interested
in this radio but want to know the latest status.  I am not on this
reflector myself so please reply directly to btippett@ctc.net.
