Building a new ham radio computer.
Planning on a faster I5 CPU. That's a 4 core and since I am not crunching
huge bunches of numbers, it will be fast enough.
The supplier suggested another way to speed things up: use a solid state
drive since I don't need a large drive. At about $1 a gigabyte, it seems a
good a good choice.
Is anyone using an SSD? I am guessing the flash memory is not bothered by
the presence of high RF energy, but I am not sure...so I am asking.
