Charles,
In XP open Windows Explorer and open the Windows folder on your drive. From
the menu choose Tools, Folder Options. Click the View tab. Uncheck - Hide
extensions for known file types.
Now the extension for each filename will display.

I have found mine but in XP it does not tell you the extension ... Well I
don't have it showing in my XP ....
But opening the file in Note pad shows it as it should be ...

Thank you all for your response, I have just looked in the WINDOWS folder
and there is NO WriteLog.ini file there. I have my old one saved on a CD,
can I copy and paste it into that folder?
