Hope everything went well in the WW test over the weekend for everyone. I
have just a handful of call/location situations I can't resolve - perhaps
someone can verify one or more of them for me. 1. R1ANN - Zone 38. Russian Antarctic base, but Writelog identifies the call as being South Shetlands. If I change the prefix to KC4 for Antarctica, it appears as "K" in the log with no points. 2. VK0DX - Zone 39. Another Antarctic station, same comment as above. 3. ZM5JBN and ZM3PKK - Zone 14. I strongly suspect these were Paraguay stations based on beam headings and their zone 14 sent. Writelog identifies them as New Zealand. Can't fine any reference to these calls or the ZM prefix for anything but New Zealand. Maybe pirates, but does anyone know for sure? 4. IS9GPI - Zone 33. Think this operation was from one of the islands classified as "African Italy" but can't find any reference to that call online. Not one of the announced CQ WW expedition calls. Shows up in log as Sardinia. A pirate or does anyone have info on this one? Thanks for any and all leads you can provide. 73, Floyd - K8AC
