Stations worked include KA2ENE FN13, WA1RKS FN32, W1AUV FN32, WZ1V
FN31, W2KV FN20, K1PXE FN31, WW1Z FN42, WB2VVV FN41, KA3FQS FN20, KA1OJ
FN42, WA3NUF FN20, W2BYP FN13, W1AIM FN34, VE2XX FN25, WA4YA FN42,
W1XIV FN34, WA3EOQ FM09, and K9MRI EN70. Conditions seemed poor here,
with very deep QSB on many signals. On the other hand, some signals got
quite strong. KA3FQS and WA3NUF hit +24 and +22 respectively, on FT8
here. They are both over 300 miles away. W1AUV and WA1RKS are difficult
paths with obstructions and both went from S7 or so down to 539. That is
a lot of QSB. K1PXE was very loud this evening. We had a short QSO on
SSB. WA3EOQ was very weak this evening. At 502 miles and 95 watts, you
should not be surprised, but he was about as weak as possible on CW, to
still make a contact. Part of the problem was that Howard forgot to aim
his antenna at first. The contact with K9MRI was via EME as the Moon
set here in Maine. We completed when the Moon was at 0.9 degrees here.
We both were aimed Southwest at the Moon. Signals were pretty good.
W2BYP was worked with his beam aimed West towards Chicago and I was able
to copy him on CW at about 539 to 549.
