I didn't get to operate in the August weekend of the contest. This was for
the September weekend, which I spent roving the Wisconsin shore of Lake
Michigan with K9PW, occasionally joined by others. I was hoping for a QSO
with AA9IL on 75 GHz (the only other station on our side of the lake with
that band) but he wasn't traveling with our group and never got close
enough to try that band.

We spent the weekend skirting rain cells that mostly seemed to avoid us. We
only encountered heavy rain twice, both times near Manitowoc, WI.

I am amazed at how fast the ARRL analyzes your log after submitting it.
This contest is complicated to score. The results from ARRL are almost
instantaneous.
