Hi pete

Wow! K3TUF was back on!!! Is he in Euphrata or remote from somewhere else? FN10 is getting rare on Tuesday nights.  Phil always had a great signal on 144, 222, and 432 up here along with Len, N3NGE. I'll be back for the 26th of March 222 nite.  I am all excited as the loggers went up on the ridge and removed a bunch of white pines that were very close to tower guy wires. They took out a bunch of potential disasters.  The area on the ridge now feels a lot more open.  I could mount an eight ft dish just a few feet off the rock and have a good shot southwest now. They also made it possible for me to see my antennas from the house again. They took out an entire grove of tall pines that blocked my view.

I am glad that you had some great luck on Tuesday.  Good luck this Tuesday.

Hi Dave,

Good to hear from you.  We do miss you.

This week I have to put in my two cents worth too.

I only had a dozen in the log but I really had a lot of fun working new and rare stations.

To begin with, some of us get together on 75 meters 3.850 mhz at 1630 local time week days.  The last two weeks I made skeds with W9KXI for 222 mhz and both times had solid 100 percent copy qsos.

Next, the code class that WA1MBA took to improve his cw ability really payed off.  We had our first ever I think, qso on 222.  K3TUF and AF1T were rare ones in my log.

So, here is the list.

WA3TUF, W9KXI, WZ1V, AF1T,

K1FSY, K1TEO, K3TUF, K1TR,

WA1MBA, WA3DRC,WB2RVX and k2rmx

I have to admit it, some weeks I’m really not with it and I’m just going through the motions, But this week I felt good and raring to go right from the beginning and it just got better and better for me.

We’ll see how next week goes.  73 and have fun

Hello Good Buddy Ron

Thanks for the 222 report.  That is a pretty nice tally of ops on ur

list. I was traveling in VA on Tuesday and forgot to send out a reminder

about 222 night. It looks like things went well.  I am on my way South

for a few days and will miss the next Tuesday as well.  It has been an

uneventful trip with only one surprise so far. We stopped in the middle

of Pennsylvania Dutch country at an Italian restaurant that was run by a

Mexican fellow.  The food was great! Other than that it has been pretty

normal.

I am in Georgia this morning. Florida panhandle this afternoon.

CU on the bands soon
