For the first time, K9MRI and I couldn't even hear each other; usually a qso was pretty easy copy on each end. Joe was in the middle of a heavy rain storm and our signals had to go thru at least a few hundred miles of it. Pretty clear wx to the northeast; the FN31 stations had normal signals. K1WHS was a squeaker again as his signal dipped into the noise a few times.
