Good Day to all
I will again be roving for the January VHF contest. The route continues to use
proven sites.
I will have all bands from 50 MHz to 10GHz. The bottom four are solid
performers, 902 and 1296 reasonable support and after that a little QRP but
reliable I have also resolved an intermittent transmit fault 902 and above.
My route is (GMT):
SaturdayFN03pv 1900 2000FN13ax 2040 2210FN14ba 2230 2430
SundayFN04xa 0100 0330FN03bh 1330 1520FN02ax 1630 1720Hagersville

MondayEN82wg 0200 0400
I will use 144.237 for all skeds, please e-mail ve3oil@yahoo.ca for requests
and I will return a list of suggestions. I will call CQ on calling frequencies
and 144.237 as guided by propagation, activity and energy. My text, 289 775
9203, will be available. FM capability on all bands and I will monitor 146.550
and 223.5 as much as possible. FT8 will run mostly on 50 MHz and 144 MHz (as
guided/required by activity) and can be moved to 222 and 432 on request. I
will QSY up when requested and there is time. Best practice seems to be run
one station/bearing at a time, DC to light, and then move to the next customer
I want everyone on every band but only have a limited time at each site.
I can't be everywhere but will always be somewhere.
